From 2012 to 2027
Each period brought a new format. What stayed the same was the structure: study, apply, present.
2012 to 2015
Founding and first expansions
The institute is born in Boston and works on two fronts from the start: young students and healthcare professionals.

BCI is founded
The Boston Cambridge Institute is founded in Boston and runs its first sessions with student groups, among them the BCI Leaders Program, the institute's flagship, which celebrates 15 years in 2027.

Harvard Medical School Update in Internal Medicine
First edition of the internal medicine update program, held in partnership with Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Professional Nurse Workshop
A workshop for nursing professionals.
2015
Technology and Computer Science Experience
BCI takes a technology and computer science program to California, expanding beyond Boston.
2016 to 2019
New destinations and new audiences
With the operation settled, the portfolio grows and the institute starts running more than one format a year.

Technology and Computer Science Experience
A new edition of the program in California.

Disney Learning Experience
A program held in Central Florida, with content applied to management, creativity and customer experience.
2019
Harvard Medical School Update in Internal Medicine
Final edition of the cycle started in 2012, closing eight years of the program for physicians.
2020 to 2021
Alternative formats
With international travel on hold for part of the period, the institute keeps its academic content running.

Media Technology & Disney Learning Experience
A program held in partnership with Full Sail University, combining technology, media and the Central Florida experience.

Virtual Experience
A virtual edition that keeps classes and mentoring going while travel is suspended.
2022 to 2024
Back on the ground
Programs return to Boston and Cambridge and the BCI Leaders Program format settles in.

Sessions come back to Boston and Cambridge, with the group on campus again.
2023 and 2024
The BCI Leaders Program takes shape
Themed classes, visits and Learning Activities, American mentoring, business project and Closing Ceremony become the program's fixed structure.
2025 to 2026
Entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence
Content is organized around building a project, and AI enters the syllabus.

Entrepreneurship Leadership Accelerator
The program for teenagers is restructured as an accelerator: each group builds a project from scratch to the final pitch.

Entrepreneurship Leadership Accelerator
A new edition, with artificial intelligence added to the syllabus as Artificial Intelligence for Entrepreneurs.

Cultural Immersion Experience
A cultural immersion in southern Bahia, in February and March, for college groups.

In 2027 the BCI Leaders Program marks 15 years with a special edition in Boston and Cambridge, bringing together entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, artificial intelligence, mentoring and project development.
